Conceptualized by Prof. Heidi Lucja Liedke and with the administrative help of her team, the aim of the FSH is to connect advanced MA students, PhD students and postdoctoral researchers based at both Goethe University and other universities so they can present their work-in-progress, receive feedback and become part of a thriving new network concerned with the critical study of hope in literature and culture. The FSH is a platform for emerging scholars who want to get in touch with other scholars working in a similar area and thus expand their own research. 

The FSH has an international Advisory Board of renowned scholars. There will be regular guest lectures by experts on the topic and scholars shaping this emerging field.

Students are very welcome to participate in the events.
